What is CO-A-CH-IN-G?

Think of coaching as a collaborative partnership focused entirely on your future. It’s a space designed to help you bridge the gap between where you are today and where you want to be tomorrow. Unlike a mentor who tells you what to do based on their own experience, or a therapist who helps you unpack and heal from the past, a coach works with the belief that you are the ultimate expert on your own life. Through active listening and thought-provoking questions, a coach helps you tap into your own inner strength, build emotional resilience, and create real, lasting habits. It isn't about fixing something that is broken. Instead, it is about giving you the tools to handle stressful moments with clarity, unlock your true potential, and confidently take charge of your own growth.

Our Mission

We believe that no young person or volunteer should have to face high-stress environments or emotional crisis alone. Our mission is to bridge the gap between youth work and mental well-being by providing accessible, science-backed coaching tools and psychological support. By empowering youth workers with professional mentorship skills and building lasting resilience in the next generation, we are creating a stronger, healthier, and more inclusive community across Europe.

Strength Through Diversity: Our European Consortium

Great ideas thrive when different perspectives come together, which is why the CO-A-CH-IN-G (CrisisAid) project is built on a tight-knit, cross-border partnership of four dedicated organizations across Europe. Led by the Understanding Foundation in Poland - experts in psychological resilience, stress management, and mental wellbeing, the consortium unites a wealth of complementary expertise. Aurive Social Cooperative in Italy brings over fifteen years of experience managing extensive youth volunteer networks and building professional soft skills. InterAktion in Austria adds its deep-rooted knowledge of managing long-term volunteer programs specifically designed to support the social inclusion of refugees and marginalized youth. Finally, KulturLife in Germany injects its specialized focus on international education, cross-cultural communication, and bridging the gap between formal and non-formal learning formats. Together, this transnational alliance ensures that the coaching tools developed are not just locally effective, but are universally designed to lift up young volunteers and youth workers right across the European continent.

Erasmus+ Funded project

Through the support of the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme, we design and implement cross-border initiatives that tackle the most pressing challenges facing today's youth work sector. These projects are not just about short-term activities; they are focused on building long-term capacity, driving systemic innovation, and creating high-quality, open-access resources that elevate the standards of youth support across the continent. By connecting passionate organizations, trainers, and volunteers from different cultures, our Erasmus+ initiatives transform innovative theoretical frameworks into practical, real-world tools that empower communities and promote a more inclusive, resilient Europe.
